In February Kaliakria Resort started a culinary programme during weekends in collaboration with Vladi Stamov, head chef of the panoramic restaurant El Balcon del Mundo.
Vladi Stamov brings together professional schooling, solid experience and artistic charm. He studied history and evolution of French cuisine in Nice at the prestigious school for hospitality of Paul Angiеr. He then took an apprenticeship in Cannes at the Noga Hilton Hotel and Le Baoli, followed by work in Monaco at Vista Palace and at the Ferme De Mougins. Vladi has been teaching hospitality and restaurant management at the new Bulgarian University in Albena for seven years. His ability to make everyone feel at ease makes this course suitable both for beginners and for more experienced cooks.
The courses are taught in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and cover different cooking techniques, recipes for salads, main courses, desserts and bread making. A visit to the wine cellar of Kantardjievo is also included.
